I am a visual artist based in Melbourne, Australia. My creative interests are primarily drawing based. Pencil, ink and watercolour on paper feature heavily, but extend into sculptural based works and installation.
The inspiration for my illustration work comes from art, nature, gardens and daydreaming - scenes depicting treed fields roaming with anthropomorphized animals and half sleeping people are the result.
Subjects for my exhibitions have ranged from figure drawing to minimal abstraction models.
When I'm not making art and listening to RRR or Nick Cave (possibly someone else, but not usually), I am turning my backyard into an idyllic haven complete with chooks and veggies (some way off, but taking shape).
